Both actors (along with Nancy Sullivan, who starred as Drake and Josh's mother) had played roles in The Amanda Show. Jonathan Goldstein plays their father, and Miranda Cosgrove plays their little sister. Reruns of Drake & Josh are currently appearing on Nickelodeon, YTV, and the The N. Drake & Josh show ran from January 2004 to September 2007, but a third TV movie entitled Merry Christmas, Drake & Josh aired on December 5, 2008.

To keep from being sent to Remedial English, Drake agrees to mentor a little kid named Sammy. Unfortunately, this little kid wants nothing to do with Drake and prefers Josh, nearly getting Drake in trouble. To keep himself from having another bad experience in Remedial English, Drake must prove to Mrs. Hayfer that he can be a better "big brother" to Sammy than Josh is. However, he fails and Drake gets sent back to Remedial English but is rescued by Josh. Guest Stars: Vanessa Hudgens as Becca, Jordan Wright as Sammy, Julia Duffy as Mrs. Hayfer & Jerry Lacy as Mr. Hayfer.
