Vanessa Hudgens tells Australia’s The Daily Telegraph that Vanessa was actually home schooled. "This has been my high-school experience,” Hudgens said. “I got to make that close group of friends you have in high school. I got to graduate with them, to throw my cap in the air for the very first time. And I guess I got to have a fairytale prom.” Vanessa continued on by saying that she was very excited to come to a third High School Musical film this year, because it meant that she would get to do what she loved with her best friends.
For Hudgens, saying goodbye to the High School Musical films was harder than she expected. Not only was she leaving behind a job that she loved, but she also was moving on from the only high school experience she had ever known. "The last day [of filming] was just too many tears,'' Vanessa admitted. "We actually couldn't get back to filming because Kenny made this announcement, and the hair and makeup [people] were saying: we can't get makeup on them because they won't stop crying.''
Vanessa Hudgens isn't quite done playing a high school student just yet. Up next for Vanessa is the 2009 film Bandslam, in which she plays a popular student who teams up with a social outcast to form a band and compete in a school competition.
