And, as news is often distributed in the "Twilight" world, the "NM" scriptwriter Melissa Rosenberg even took to a fan blog to say that she hasn't even written Leah Clearwater into the movie script.
Multiple reports say that Hudgens' management is now denying that the High School Musical star ever auditioned for the Twilight team.
So rest easy, American teens. Your precious Twilight will not be sullied with a Disney musical star... yet.
