Vanessa Hudgens - Concert tours, High School Musical

Vanessa Hudgens wallpaper imageshack usMore about Vanessa Hudgens in High School Musical: The Concert.

High School Musical: The Concert involved a 40-city concert tour (2006-2007) based on the popular hit Disney Channel Original Movie, High School Musical, sponsored by AEG Live and presented by Buena Vista Concerts. The concert toured cities in the United States, Canada and Latin America.

High School Musical: The Concert expanded the Disney Channel franchise that had previously produced a triple-platinum selling soundtrack and had planned a movie sequel. (Disney already scored a success with another concert based on a TV musical, The Cheetah Girls, which had a sold-out tour in 88 cities.)

High School Musical: The Concert featured songs from the film, also included cast members Corbin Bleu, Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Monique Coleman and Vanessa Hudgens. Zac Efron did not join the rest of the cast in order to work on Hairspray. Instead, Drew Seeley, who co-wrote "Get'cha Head in the Game" and sang as Troy in High School Musical the movie and soundtrack, joined the tour. Jordan Pruitt performed the show's opening act.

AEG Live and Buena Vista Concerts plan to do a world tour that includes all the songs from the three movies; they scheduled the planned tour to begin in April 2009 in Europe.

Vanessa Hudgens - Identified album

Vanessa Hudgens Identified alternate coverMore about Vanessa Hudgens Album " Identified"...Identified is the 2nd of Vanessa Hudgens' studio album.

Identified album was released via Hollywood Records July 1, 2008 in the U.S., June 24, 2008 in Japan, February 13, 2009 in most European countries and February 16, 2009 in the United Kingdom.

Identified album received generally positive reviews from music critics. One single has been released to date called "Sneakernight".

Identified has received generally favorable reviews. Billboard said that the album "panders to the preteen demo with stop-start pop that ranges from pleasant (the title track) to dull ("Amazed") to off-putting ("Hook It Up"). But for little girls, this is one nonstop sing-along."

The New York Times said that "a handful of songs like this would have sufficed to help mature her image, and yet "Identified" is far more interesting and unexpected."

Blender gave it a three stars out of five, and claimed that her "voice was made to rip, and when she lets go just a little, the coyness turns sultry—proof that she might just have a life after high school."

Variety said that Identified "shows that the High School Musical veteran is definitely ready to graduate. The better parts of the album find her reaching for a more mature sound, but she hedges her bets with large portions of treacly teen-pop...The weakest link in most of the songs is Hudgens thin, piping voice."
